Overview

This position is responsible for supporting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of 360 Care’s information and information systems. The Junior IT Security Administrator will assist in implementing and maintaining security controls, monitoring systems, and responding to security events under the guidance of senior security staff.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining IT security controls to protect infrastructure from potential threats and attacks
  • Support the enforcement of security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA and NIST
  • Participate in vulnerability assessments and security scans; assist in remediation efforts
  • Monitor security tools, alerts, and system logs to identify and escalate potential security incidents
  • Assist in responding to security incidents, including documentation and coordination of remediation activities
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity efforts, including documentation and periodic testing
  • Maintain and update security documentation, procedures, and reports
  • Stay informed on emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices through ongoing learning
  • Assist with security awareness initiatives and training efforts for employees
  • Actively supports and complies with all components of the compliance program, including training and reporting of suspected violations of law and Company policy
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information; abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines at all times
  • Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or a related field (internships or relevant coursework acceptable)
  • Basic understanding of IT security principles, networking, and operating systems
  • Familiarity with security tools such as antivirus, endpoint protection, or vulnerability scanners is a plus
  • Exposure to compliance frameworks such as HIPAA or NIST is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Entry-level certifications such as Security+ or equivalent are a plus
