To process, file and administer Medicaid offsets and provide Special Care Insurance Policies (SCIP) department assistance.
Responsibilities
Responsible for filing Medicaid premium offset request and follow up.
Tracks and maintains accounts with updates for Medicaid offset approvals.
Responsible for all requests pertaining to the Medicaid offsets.
Assist with department calls and customer service needs.
Completes data entry of patient demographics (responsible party / insurance / facility / referring provider) for billing information.
Keys and maintains resident information.
Adds applications and remains current with filing in systems
Helps maintain and complete insurance policies
Consistently delivers excellent customer service
Actively supports and complies with all components of the Company compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting of suspected violations of law and Company policy.
Maintains confidentiality of all information; always abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
To work remotely, it is expected you will have a reliable, nonpublic high-speed internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to participate in all work-related activities. Any interruptions in service should be immediately reported to your manager.
Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned.
