Overview

This position is responsible for supervising Area Managers and their sales marketing efforts for a specific territory.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the hiring, training, and managing performance of the sales team in meeting goals and expectations for the specified territory.
  • Define and drive KPIs for the sales team to meet and exceed company goals.
  • Assist sales team with targeting markets and ensure proper sales tools are used and available.
  • Accompany sales employees on visits to support and provide feedback and suggestions for areas of opportunity.
  • Conduct periodic meetings with sales individuals and team members as required.
  • Review monthly performance with direct reports and discuss opportunity.
  • Provide reports to upper management on team and goals.
  • Support sales team by successfully finding, developing, and selling services to new accounts.
  • Assist sales team with expansion and maintaining professional relationships with new and existing customers within designated region.
  • Ensure sales activities are properly executed and reporting is accurate and timely.
  • Assist with prospective leads and identify up sell opportunities.
  • Assist with any potential business opportunities.
  • Ensure sales team proactively contacts leads and maintains an accurate sales pipeline.
  • Ensure client satisfaction is met and maintained.
  • Conduct business in a professional, ethical, and honest manner at all times.
  • Comfortably present company services with proper decision makers.
  • Champion technology adoption and usage.
  • Answer any questions from prospects and team in a timely manner.
  • Build positive relationships at all organizational levels and cross-functionally to meet company goals.
  • Actively support and comply with all components of the compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting of suspected violations of law and company policy.
  • Ensure that the activities of operations are conducted in a manner that is consistent with overall company protocol, and are in compliance with Federal, State, and payer regulations, guidelines, and requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information; abide by HIPAA and PHI guidelines at all times.
  • To work remotely, it is expected you will have a reliable, nonpublic high-speed internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to participate in all work-related activities.  Any interruptions in service should be immediately reported to your manager.  
  • Champion and react positively to change.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in related field preferred.
  • Travel 50% of the time, subject to change as business needs dictate.
  • 5 years healthcare sales experience preferred.
  • Must have Health Insurance license within 45 days of employment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and computer skills.
  • Proven success establishing strong relationships at all levels and cross-functionally.
  • Sensitive to deadlines and completed reporting in a timely manner.
  • Goal oriented with a passion for helping others.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to problem solve and multi-task. 
  • Must have own transportation, a good driving record and auto insurance.
