Overview

The New Client Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, support, and assistance with questions or concerns for the patient, POA, or Facility. This position will be instrumental in mitigating terminations during the pre-approval phase and will act as an initial resource during this period.

Responsibilities

  • Professionally initiates out-bound calls to POA’s, Facility, or patient to educate, answer any questions, and ultimately help reduce terminations during the approval period.
  • This position will maintain and update call logs and customer records to ensure compliance and adherence to company policies.
  • Must take ownership of job responsibilities by initiating prompt and appropriate follow-up and or action to problems and provide accurate responses to customer inquiries or concerns.
  • Will enter terminations into system at time of call or request by the responsible party.
  • Assists Director of Revenue Cycle with special projects as needed.
  • Communication with facility staff, internal and external customers is to be professional and supportive.
  • Consistently delivers excellent customer service to facilities, patients / family, providers, and marketers.
  • Actively supports and complies with all components of the compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting of suspected violations of law and Company policy.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information; abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines at all times.
  • To work remotely, it is expected you will have a reliable, nonpublic high-speed internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to participate in all work-related activities. Any interruptions in service should be immediately reported to your manager.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years administrative experience and/ or customer service experience required
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft software’s such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Demonstrate proper phone and email etiquette while
  • Represents strong data entry skills
  • Must have excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exhibits strong customer service and follow up skills
