Overview

To provide assistance and administrative support for state specific Account Representatives, the Director, and Team Leads. This position will assist with entry level daily operational tasks which will positively impact the department and the staff.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for account/ patient terminations for each assigned state, account changes, contact updates, and any modifications needed for the account.
  • Responsible for changes of monthly billing notices, corrections on big bill day, and sending invoices as requested by the facility.
  • Responsible for the Nextgen Deceased report. This includes terming, correcting, researching, and contacting the facility to obtain DOD.
  • Responsible for handling and processing all refunds that come through the SCIP department, as well as handling batches each week.
  • Assists Director of Revenue Cycle with special projects as needed.
  • Communication with facility staff, internal and external customers is to be professional and supportive.
  • Consistently delivers excellent customer service to facilities, patients / family, providers, and marketers.
  • Actively supports and complies with all components of the compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting of suspected violations of law and Company policy.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information; abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines at all times.
  • To work remotely, it is expected you will have a reliable, nonpublic high-speed internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to participate in all work-related activities. Any interruptions in service should be immediately reported to your manager.
  • Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years administrative experience
  • Advance working knowledge of Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Genelco Group Plus
  • Strong data entry skills and phone / email etiquette
  • Must have excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exhibits strong customer service and follow up skills
