- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) as an IT Product Owner and/or IT project manager, preferably within IT healthcare/insurance industry.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certification is preferred.
- Understanding of 3rd party Sales and/or proprietary application implementations.
- Experience working with regulatory bodies and implementing compliance measures within IT projects.
- Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and the full software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or similar.
- Experience leveraging lean/Six Sigma methodologies a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, LucidChart).
- Proficiency in project management tools and software for project resource planning, task tracking, scheduling, and reporting.
- Travel – occasional overnight required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels in all manners of communication (oral and written).
- Experience getting work done through others without direct authority.
- Strong desire to excel and achieve results.
- Strong urgency and able to practice a high level of confidentiality.
- Basic understanding of software development technologies and processes to make informed product decisions.
