Overview

This senior leadership position will serve as a strategic partner to the SVP of Sales & Marketing, focusing on driving operational excellence, fostering a high-performing sales culture, and ensuring that key strategic initiatives are executed efficiently. The individual will manage cross-functional projects, streamline administrative tasks, create a framework for continuous improvement for sales, and handle other key tasks to further company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership
    • Develop and implement processes to improve sales productivity, pipeline management, and forecasting accuracy.
    • Oversee the execution of key initiatives across regional teams, ensuring alignment with broader company goals.
    • Collaborate with fellow Sales VPs to drive the sales organization forward, supporting goal achievement and optimizing processes for maximum efficiency.
  • Sales Enablement & Culture
    • Drive change management tactics to support sales transformation efforts.
    • Partner with fellow Sales VPs to build a cohesive, high-performing sales culture.
    • Lead efforts to improve onboarding, training, and ongoing development for sales.
    • Support initiatives aimed at strengthening team cohesion and morale across regions.
  • Strategic Project Management & Execution
    • Drive the planning and execution of sales and cross-functional strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
    • Serve as a liaison for internal partners such as Insurance, IT, Finance, and Operations on sales-related initiatives.
    • Collaborate with Citizens Insurance to strategize and implement streamlined processes for distributing our insurance products to external organizations, driving growth and expanding market reach.
  • Administrative Oversight
    • Streamline reporting and administrative tasks for SVP of Sales & Marketing to create bandwidth for strategic thinking.
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies, sales metrics tracking, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Strategic Alignment & Forward Planning
    • Partner with the SVP of Sales & Marketing to drive strategic clarity and ensure key priorities are aligned across the sales organization.
    • Anticipate emerging challenges and opportunities, proactively developing strategies to maintain momentum and support long-term growth.
    • Provide critical insights on market dynamics, competitive positioning, and internal performance to inform high-level decision-making.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to the SVP of Sales & Marketing, helping shape and refine the department’s strategic direction.
  • Actively supports and complies with all components of the compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting of suspected violations of law and Company policy.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information; abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines at all times.
  • To work remotely, it is expected you will have a reliable, nonpublic high-speed internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to participate in all work-related activities. Any interruptions in service should be immediately reported to your manager.  
  • Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned.

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within sales enablement, strategy, operations, or related areas.
  • Strong skills in project management, cross-functional leadership, and change management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to manage tactical details.
  • Experience driving cultural transformation in a large, geographically dispersed organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
  • Self-starter with a keen ability to take initiative with little direction.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Able to travel up to 10%.
  • Ability to work independently and with other team members.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and self-motivated.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Anticipate needs in a proactive manner to increase satisfaction.
