Overview

This position is responsible for timely input of Special Care Insurance Policies (SCIP) documentation and providing excellent customer service at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure applications are complete and include the form numbers.
  • Listen to phone applications for errors and assist with corrections.
  • Obtain missing information on applications from long term care facilities, responsible party or inside sales.
  • Code applications for Group Number, Account Number, Plan Codes and effective date.
  • Confirm agent/marketing coding through our system and document on spreadsheet.
  • Correctly enter applications into system in a timely manner.
  • Process refund requests, address changes and revise/send out premium bills that are incorrect.
  • Send monthly census/aging to all facilities.
  • Maintain monthly and weekly reporting.
  • Scan, file and documentation of facility information sheets and other documents as needed.
  • Maintain telephone communication system (switchboard).
  • Greet customers and clients when calling or visiting the corporate office.
  • Maintain and monitor coporate lobby.
  • Distribute overnight voicemail messages.
  • Receive all incoming deliveries and sign.
  • Actively supports and complies with all components of the compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting of suspected violations of law and Company policy.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information; abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines at all times.
  • Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Exhibits strong customer service and follow up skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must have strong data entry skills with high level of accuracy.
  • Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • 2-4 years administrative experience.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Genelco Group Plus
  • Must have excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
