Overview

Citizens Financial Corporation (CFC) is comprised of three operating companies 360care, Citizens Security Life Insurance Company, and CitizenDX lab services that primarily provide health insurance and healthcare services to residents within long-term care facilities.  CFC is hiring a leader to report to the CEO of the three operating companies to lead the combined companies’ unified sales and marketing organization. To lead the sales and marketing strategies, organization, and execution for the CFC companies driving business growth, attracting and retaining customers, and enhancing brand reputation.

Responsibilities

  1. Sales Leadership & Strategy:
    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed financial targets.
    • Lead and mentor the sales team, setting clear goals and performance metrics.
    • Establish, evaluate, and maintain sales commission programs.
    • Identify new sales opportunities and markets, expanding the conglomerate's reach.
    • Utilize data analytics to tailor efforts and measure their effectiveness.
  2. Marketing & Brand Management:
    • Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels.
    • Ensure brand consistency and a positive brand image across all communications.
    • Oversee the companies’ online presence, including websites and social platforms.
    • Leverage all appropriate channels to increase brand awareness and drive revenue growth.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Develop strategies to attract new clients while maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing ones.
    • Collaboratively implement customer feedback mechanisms to improve services and customer satisfaction.
    • Oversee customer service strategies to ensure a positive experience at every touchpoint.
  4. Market Research & Analysis:
    • Stay abreast of market trends and competitive dynamics within the healthcare sector.
    • Use market insights to inform business strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
    • Regularly report on market trends and competitor activities to the executive team.
  5. Collaboration & Integration:
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment of sales and marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Partner with the companies’ Executive Team to develop strategy and initiatives.
    • Foster cross-functional initiatives to maximize the impact of sales and marketing efforts, and ensure sales and marketing efforts maximize results for other parts of the business.
  6. Budget Management:
    • Be a key contributor to development of annual company budgets and multiyear strategic plans.
    • Develop and manage the sales and marketing budgets.
    • Ensure optimal allocation of resources to achieve the best ROI.
  7. Training & Development:
    • Ensure continuous training and development opportunities for the sales and marketing teams.
    • Stay updated with the latest sales and marketing techniques and tools.
  8. Networking & Partnerships:
    • Represent the conglomerate at industry events, conferences, and networking meetings.
    • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
  9. Reporting & Accountability:
    • Provide regular reports on sales and marketing performance against objectives.
    • Ensure a high degree of accountability within the sales and marketing teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Extensive experience in:
    • Leading sales and marketing organizations, especially selling into long-term care facilities, but also healthcare, and/or health insurance sectors
    • Building, managing, and protecting brand
    • Designing and optimizing sales processes
    • Using data and analysis to understand and improve sales performance
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales and marketing strategies across multiple product lines.
  • Proven success of working within multi-channel distribution: direct sales, telephonic, digital, etc. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a matrix organization.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven developer of talent and sense of team throughout an organization.
  • Excellent communication
